North Shore residents, been to" Savers" in Danvers yet?
You may know about this thrift store but it is a bonanza for this area. In fact there are great 3 stores in this mall on Endicott street. Not the big Liberty Tree mall but the one that houses Market Basket across from the new Mass General Hospital satellite location.

Not only Savers but there is a great, huge used book store plus a surplus store called "Ocean State Job Lots".

Everything at Savers is is good condition, clean, sizes and arranged by color. Mens, womens, kids, bric-a-brac, shoes etc. Worth a trip. The bookstore has books of every size and type for adults and kids. All in great shape. Ocean State is a random assortment of everything. I just picked up some Lands End Mens T's for $4.00. It is the type of place that you check out with hope of finding something, maybe you will but never go looking for a particular thing. Sort of like a neat and clean Bldg 19.

I don't buy much any more but I do stop just in case. Bought a copper mold as a gift a short time ago. Have picked up cast iron skillets, new shoes, jeans and a LL Bean winter ski jacket with the zip out lining for my daughter for $12.00.

Tuesday is "Senior" day with 20% off anything you purchase.

1. Wow, I'll pass that on to my sisters that still live in Mass.
Sounds like they have some good stuff.

3. Welcome to DU, Difms, I'm sure your family will like the 3 stores
in that mall. If they have children or like to read, I can't think of a better place to drop by than the bookstore. The clothing at Savers is a bonanza. I just bought an LL bean (another one)jacket for $8.99(put away for next winter) and have bought some great books next door for gifts. Coffee table books by the pound. Kids books, paperbacks hardcover are $1.99 and up(but not much). Arranged like a library, all in great shape. Some are new!

In times like these, we need to pass good tips around.
