Waterspout damages boats in Dartmouth

DARTMOUTH, Mass. -- The National Weather Service confirmed that a waterspout tore through Dartmouth on Monday.

The spout flipped boats and uprooted trees. At least seven boats were damaged and many of them were submerged and had to be pulled out the water.

Officials said the waterspout was 75 feet wide.

No injuries were reported.
