Any word on Md 06?
I've not seen any polls and would like to see Roscoe go away. Go Duck.

2. Not only is it uphill...
But I don't think he got much support from the DCCC. I've not seen ads and I think Roscoe is vulnerable with some well done ads.

3. he hasn't raised much money on his own
the dccc is not going to look at this race. This is not a viable campaign imo.

4. agreed
about a month ago, a poll showed Duck at 32% and Bartlett at 48%. but then the foley thing broke, dropping Bartlett down to 32% about 2 weeks ago with 22% undecided.

i agree, some well placed ads could easily win the 6th for Duck. he clearly the better canidate. but the problem is, is that Duck is having a hard time raising money because everyone isnt paying any mind to what is considered a republican strong hold. and personally i find it disheartening that the DCCC hasent supported Duck. seems like an 20 military and Iraq war vet would be a nice asset in congress. and a boost to the democratic image. Duck is clearly intelligent and more than qulified to serve in congress. some good ads would undoubtedly win the seat. bartlett keps winning because the DCCC has turned its back on the 6th district. bartlett hasent had a well funded opponent since 94. if anyone is going to reclaim the 6th district, its going be Duck.

im gonna try to get a hold of him tonight to get some more current information.

i'll keep you posted...

(Duck is my father, by the way)

I live right up the road in Middletown, I've been thinking about volunteering for him.

On edit: Mention that he needs to hit Roscoe with the lack of standing up for the Hancock grunts that went down over the Abu Ghraib photos. While what they did was wrong, and deserving of discipline, what did Bartlett do to investigate get to the bottom of how that could happen? Nothing.

6. yes...
that is something he talks about quite often and quite passionately.

as far as an update....
cant really say at this point. Duck is busy campagining right now so he hasent stopped to take a breather ( i had to talk to dear ol mom about the campagin ) . there still arent any polls being taken. bartlett is wimping out on future debates because Duck kicked his ass. um....they just put 30,000 into some media like radio and newspaper ads ( the radio ads are up on his website). bartlett seems to be relying on the church goer vote as he is seen at church an awful lot lately. but the funny thing is, is that the gwinett county christian coalition offerned their endorsement but Duck turned it down. i cant remember the name (sorry) but if Duck endorses some guy running for sheriff in west maryland then they will endorse Duck over bartlett with will bring in more votes. he hasent decided yet because dad doent just lend himself out like that.
Cardin is coming out to campagin with him because CARDIN CANT WIN WITHOUT A DUCK WIN. he needs Duck to carry western Maryland because the Cardin race is so close. they are doing some sort of caravan across western maryland thing....

YES...YOU SHOULD VOLUNTEER FOR DUCK!!! THERE IS A SIGN CAMPAGIN GOING ON RIGHT NOW BEING RUN BY THE VOLUNTEERS. FEEL FREE TO PUT A BIG 4X4 OR 4X6 SIGN UP IN YOUR YARD!!!!! CONTACT HIS HEADQUATERS FOR MORE INFORMATION!!!!

7. Malone DeBoy District 12A
I'm not sure about Roscoe, but I know Republican Joe Hooe is giving DeBoy and Malone a run for their money. I think because Hooe has found a way to fund Marylands school system with an occupational professionals license and Malone/DeBoy have not said what their plan is to get our kids out of trailers. Hooe seems to be even ahead of "Your Never Alone with Jimmy Malone" with his phrase "I was left alone with Jimmy Malone" is almost too much for me.

Hooe wants to charge us $20 to fund the 3 Billion over the next 10 years in order to build new schools and get our kids out of the trailers. Apparently this license that he proposes would also allow our Unions and Police to clearly identify illegals at work sites.

Since when was a Republican for Unions?? I don't know, but this license clearly shows a pro union stance as well as keeping the illegals out.

I think District 12A is going to be a hot race to watch. Heck, I might even give Hooe a chance since Malone and DeBoy can't seem to do anything for Baltimore County.

8. Deboy and Malone are Great - The Best
Edited on Wed Oct-25-06 01:03 PM by mmcghenn
What is your problem? I have not read that you have a positive word to say for any Democrat. So why are you here?

Jimmy Malone and Steve DeBoy are great delegates, they work hard for their district and they get a tremendous amount done. I know this because I live in their district. Joe Hooe (pronounced "HO")is a blustering wanna be shill for Ehrlich. He will serve only that master should he eke out a win in 12A

I have met all the parties you have spoken of, Joe Hooe does not compare favorably with either Malone or Deboy.
