I don't think much of using ones mothers' death for political gain. I thought it more distasteful than powerful.

but we all read about it in his book. Doesn't mean he has to use it for political gain. I'd rather he take PAC money than use his mother's death ...

4. love Mfume and thought his tv spot was great
can't get excited about Cardin. Unfortunately it seems Mfume is just a bit tooo black for a lot of white democrats here. I've spoken to a number...they almost look horrified at the thought of Mfume. It's been a surprising experience for me. I just hope we don't see the black community stay home in the general, because they WILL have been slighted once again.

8. I think his name is the turnoff
It sounds too ethnic I suppose. I didn't know much about him until he came to talk to my agency during Black History Month. Anyone who hears him speak usually comes away impressed.
