WBAL TV - Faux News Wannabe
WBAL is working too hard to please the Republicans and Bobby Erlich. The whole evening newscast seemed dedicated to making sure the news slated pro-Republican. They even went so far, at one point, to have Republican views from some Repuke leader and Sen. Bill Frist in order to attack something Sen. Mikulski supports. I only came in on the tail end of it, so I don't know the whole story, except it had to do with funding higher education. I was stunned. . Why the hell is Bill Frist writing a letter to WBAL anyway? It made me want to gag. Since when do they read letters to the editor during a newscast? The infiltration of the right wing has permeated even local news in a progressive town. Maybe I am over-reacting. Perhaps, I just know that I am sick to death of it. I just want to hear the local news, not Right Wing windbag Rebublican views and propaganda. Since they have chosen to take this stance, I choose not to watch their newscast.

2. I do not recall such blatant pandering
until the last year or so. I never noticed a slant and would have. I have never listened to WBAL radio, knowing what it is. WBAL TV just reported the news, a little sensationally at times, but they it was local news not opinion.

5. For the most part, I don't think they're anything like their radio
counterpart. The radio is like typical AM format....right wing 24-7.
