WARREN (Nov 7): Law enforcement officials Saturday night were searching for two men who reportedly escaped from the Maine State Prison's Bolduc Correctional Facility on Cushing Road in Warren.

Robert L. Fogg, 28, and Arden Shaw, 36, were believed to have walked away from the facility around 8:45 p.m., according to Deputy Warden Al Barlow.

They were unaccounted for at roll call and now we're looking for them," said Barlow Saturday around 10:15 p.m.

Fogg is described as being about 5 feet 8 inches tall, 165 pounds with blue eyes. Shaw bears a similar description, weighing around 155 pounds. Each man was last seen wearing jeans, a T-shirt and a tank top with a denim jacket.

Buldoc is a minimum security facility with an inmate population of 150. Buldoc is located at 516 Cushing Road (Route 97), north of the Maine State Prison at 807 Cushing Road.

Anyone with information is asked to call prison officials at 273-5123 or dial 911

1. I guess I should lock my doors!
Don't want them walking in on my morning coffee, and I bet they are hungry by now.

Of course, I'm many miles away.

6. well, the 2 guys were from outa state
and anyone escaping prison generally does not stick around very long....and they stole a truck from some idiot who left their keys in it. I'm sure they're long outa state by now. I can see the state prison from my kitchen window too. I'm not worried about that either.

7. Prison escapees found in Vermont
Authorities have found two inmates who escaped from Bolduc Correctional Facility last weekend in Vermont.

Arden Shaw, 36, and Robert Fogg, 28, escaped from the Warren facility Nov. 7. Denise Lord, Maine's Associate Corrections Commissioner, said in a news release that the two men were found Friday night. She didn't release any other details.

The two inmates were in jail on burglary charges. They were slated to be released in 2013.

Bolduc is a minimum-security prison with 150 inmates, many with five years or fewer remaining on their sentences. Lord told the Bangor Daily News that it's similar to a work farm and has no guard towers.

8. idiots...."similar to a work farm" ?
it is a farm. In fact nobody around here even calls it the minimum securtiy prison...everyone calls it either "the farm" or the "prison farm"
