Letter to the Editor (Lewiston Sun Journal)
This is from today's Sun Journal. I was shocked to see they actually printed this. Anyone know the author?


It is time for conservatives to have their actions follow their rhetoric. Those who pushed for this war should be the first ones lining up to fight it. Re-enlistments are down 41 percent in spite of large increases in cash signing bonuses.

Why? Because anyone can see the quagmire that Iraq has become. To push for pre-emptive war, as conservatives have done, but only if someone else does the fighting and dying for you, is the definition of cowardice.

The armed forces need help now. A "Support the Troops" bumper sticker doesn't cut it.
