Two-Faced Susan: Susan Collins' Lies, Hypocrisy, and Allegiance to the GOP's Far Right Wing
I got this in an email this morning...

Check out Senate 2008 Guru's Sunday column on prominent national political blog MyDD for a breakdown of Susan Collins' numerous lies, hypocrisies, ethical questions, and outright failures as a Senator, as well as Collins' unbending allegiance to George W. Bush, Bush-Cheney's corporate cronies, and the far right wing of the Republican Party.

http://www.mydd.com/story/2007/12/9/213312/098

The column delves into such topics as:
-Collins' broken term-limits pledge (did she EVER intend to keep her promise?)
-Collins' unflinching support for George W. Bush and unending war in Iraq
-Collins' ethical questions surrounding her inappropriate use of taxpayer-funded Senate resources and staff for political campaign purposes
-Collins' hypocrisies and women's rights and reproductive rights
-Collins' numerous failures as Chair of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, including a lack of oversight in the areas of waste and mismanagement, war profiteering and no-bid contracts, and the Walter Reed Army Medical Center scandal (Collins cares more about Halliburton's well-being than the well-being of Maine's families)
-Collins' opposition to Constitutionally-supported habeas corpus rights
-Collins' support of Real ID in the face of statewide opposition
-Collins' hypocrisy on out-of-state money for in-state political activity
-Collins' support for far-right-wing Senate leadership
