1. In what way was that debate with Ed Cervone a set-up?

If you are talking about the 30-minute TV debate on TABOR with Bill Becker and Ed Cervone that happened this evening and which I just watched on video streaming, I'm not sure what you mean by it being a
"set-up". Do you think they subtly favored the pro-TABOR side or that
Becker "won" the debate? I think Becker may have been a bit more polished but that Ed Cervone held his own. The one thing that did piss me off was how they started by featuring their online poll but that these online polls ARE NOT SCIENTIFIC SURVEYS!! In other words, they are not based on a random sample of likely voters and are therefore usually heavily skewed one way or the other. You're right, Becker kept with the LIE that TABOR doesn't cut spending, but I think Ed did a pretty good job pointing out that it would result in spending cuts and that Becker had no answer on what he thought should be cut. Of course they NEVER talk about what they think should be cut. I also think Ed did a pretty good job talking about alternatives but also that this referendum is not about "alternatives". It is about the TABOR plan and he did alright stressing that it is a flawed plan that won't work.

The NO ON ONE campaign is working hard. I continued lit dropping myself today in my town. At this stage don't worry, just get out there and WORK. Do lit drops, talk to friends, realtives, and neighbors, email friends and relatives, put out signs, make a contribution, help with phone banking... Just work, work, work from now until election day and let's beat this thing!!

4. I', M TALKING ABOUT THE ONE IN WESTBROOK HIGH

It was obvious when the first pro -tabor spoke, this man is definetly in the loop.Also when the spit and polish man spoke against tabor -how becker avoided the ans, and how both ted and ray conviently made this possible.
FOR any fool to think that this does not hinder your imput in the spending of your tax dollar is
just snookered.
the maine tabor is harder to over-ride to get the vote to the people, and neither ray richardson nor (bill steal u blind )becker will address this directly.
it is a cut,and do u think they will cut the profit to the contractor building the school -yea tthe ck is in the mail.
and while we're talking about that smokescreen=the 1.3 million dollar parking lot in augusta,how much are the media recieving from the state and federal governments in grants and guranteed loans?
it makes the parking lot look cheap!

p.s. BECKER IS WORKING FOR A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION=WHAT DOES THE TOP MAN PULL FOR A SALARY?
AND DO YOU THINK BECKER IS WORKING FOR FREE?

on the 10th floor of 1 Canal Plaza from 5:30-7:30 in the offices of Curtis, Thaxter et al.

5. I SEE ONE LAST NIGHT

I WAS FLICKING CHANNELS AND SEE ONE ON PBS,IT WAS SLANTED ANTI-TABOR,BUT IT WASN'T ON PRIME TIME.
TO BE HONEST THEY NEED A MODERATOR AND TWO GOOD OPPONENTS,THAT RULES OUT BECKER,HE CAN'T ANSWER A DIRECT QUESTION. AND THE FORMAT LAST NITE FIT HIM SAFELY.THATS WHY HE WAS THERE!
