On October 13th "King Midas," a 300 pound sea turtle, became the first animal to return to the aquarium following Hurricane Katrina. "Seeing King Midas return to the Aquarium is a symbol that the Aquarium and New Orleans will rebuild," said Audubon Nature Institute Ron Forman. King Midas' overland journey from his temporary home at Moody Gardens Aquarium in Galveston took over six hours and the tireless support of dedicated staff and volunteers.....
