I just received this from a friend that lives in Kentucky it's dated July 30th. I don't see the article posted here so I hope it's alright to do so now.

GOP to put challengers at polls again this fall

The Courier-Journal

The Jefferson County Republican Party again plans to place challengers in predominantly Democratic precincts for the November election.

Some local African Americans said yesterday that the plan is intimidating to minority and Democratic voters.

"The threat of challengers being placed in African-American and white districts is a form of intimidation of voters," Raoul Cunningham said at a meeting of the Non-Partisan Coalition for Civil Rights yesterday. The coalition is open to anyone who wants to participate.

Jack Richardson, Jefferson County's Republican Party chairman, said having the challengers draws attention to "the need for a fair and fraud-free election, and it draws attention to the fact that if you participate in fraud, that is a federal offense and you are going to go to jail." </snip>

1. Democrats should do the same.

2. PLEASE POST THIS IN GD OR LBN!
This is huge, and this will happen across the US, not just in Kentucky.

Those dirty bastards! :grr:

6. Expose them to the light of day. Write letters to the C-J
If they had challengers at all precincts, it wouldn't be questionable.
