The Big Dog wants to keep IA/New Hampshire First
(It worked out pretty well for him!!)

“They are under tremendous pressure to come up with something and I respect that, but I think there are other ways to do it,” Clinton said. He continues to talk with committee members, he says, to help preserve that retail politics states like Iowa and New Hampshire continue to begin the process.

“As much as I love the people in New Hampshire this isn’t about this particular state. This is about making better candidates and making better presidents,” Clinton said. “If you add another state before New Hampshire then you are by definition cutting down on the amount of retail politics.”

When asked a follow up about whether Hillary agrees with his stance he explained at length that she did.

The impact of Clinton and his wife’s endorsement of the New Hampshire Primary on the DNC remains unknown, but it is hard to find a more influential pair in the political party.

1. I know some people around here don't like him...
Bill has been the only Democratic President in my lifetime (besides Carter, and I couldn't hardly speak during those 2 years)..and maybe for that reason alone I like the guy. I was 14-15 and visiting family in Arkansas while Clinton was running for President, and my hillbilly brethren sure liked the guy...one of the reasons I called myself a Democrat eventually.

I am happy to see him supporting Iowa's place in the elective process.

2. His (and HRC's) support for the IA/NH alliance makes it almost unanimous
Every Democratic presidential candidate but one supports Iowa First Caucus and New Hampshire First Primary.....I wonder who that one candidate that DOESN'T support the tradition is?????
