CR Gazette - CQPolitics.com upgrades Loebsack in IA-02
In today's paper, but I think this is old news. IA-02 changed from "safe Republican" to "Republican favored". ( headline "upset of Leach now a possibility" )
"forecast changed primarily because of deteriorating political environment for Republicans, the strong Democratic leanings of the 2nd district and Leach's unusual style" {of campaigning}.
Go Dave Go!
And of course if ya'll can spare a few bucks:

1. Don't get lazy
I have seen it happen more then once. I can remember going to a County Central meeting and the supervisors were all but opening the campaign. Guess what, he lost. I think we need to push like we are five points behind, with a chance to gain.

I think Leach feels he is safe, so he is the one that needs to et lazy.

2. You are absolutely right!
I feel Dave Loebsack himself is on a mission. He knows just how important beating Leach is to people like myself and thousands of others in his district. We will be busting our butts to turn IA-02 blue to match the blue in IA-01 and 03 and maybe 04 (could 05 be possible, too?)

3. I almost wish this stuff wasn't posted...
...because you know Republicans check this out, and I'd rather they have a sense of security and be lackadaisical about it all, and then we can attack out of nowhere.

That's not a criticism of anyone, and I'm not saying that stuff like this shouldn't be posted. I just like the style of attacking when least expected.

4. Like the republicans didn't see it before it ended up in the paper?
This is no surprise to ANYONE deeply involved in politics. republicans aren't trolling this site to find out what is going on in our campaigns. They're too busy digging up mud to throw on October 15th or so to shut down the campaign. THAT'S what republicans do.

5. Is it possible that all 5 Iowa seats go into the Democratic collumn?
