...

Hours before the polls opened, UI police arrested two UI students for allegedly affixing unspecified political stickers to UI buildings, parking booths, parking-ticket dispensers, and trash cans.

Molly Schild, 21, and Nicole McMillen, 22, were charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, public intoxication, and interference with official acts after allegedly giving authorities false names. The two "smelled heavily of an alcoholic beverage and had bloodshot, watery eyes," police reported. Court records show Schild's preliminary blood-alcohol level was .108, McMillen's was .101.

Schild is co-chairwoman of UI Students for George W. Bush. Her fellow co-chairwoman, Anna Hall, said she had no knowledge of the incident, and declined to comment further.

These two young ladies sound charming. Just more boorish behavior by young Republicans. Hopefully they get more than a wrist slap.

4. At the very least
They would have spent the night in the drunk tank at the county jail. I'm sure Daddy came and bailed them out in the morning.

5. I just walked by the map of the city on the pentacrest
You can hardly read it since all the W stickers have been partially removed but the backing is still obscuring the view of the map.

7. How do we know this wasn't the Bush Twins?
If these two ladies gave fake names, perhaps this was the Bush twins, doing some last-minute campaigning for their father?

It could happen. :D
