Bills in the Iowa Legislature: Was last week the final date for those older bills to come out onto the floor? That is, are the bills left in committee and/or sub-committee now officially dead?

I think there are exceptions for budget bills and maybe some other things, but most bills not out of committee are now dead. At least that is what one of the representatives said today.

Looks like SF 351 (the voting reform bill calling for verifiable paper trails) is no longer viable. That just sucks.
Who is the Democratic candidate running for Rep. Libby Jacobs' seat? I want to donate to that campaign.
