In fact, I voted last week. The local Democratic Party is encouraging absentee balloting.

Meaning I can legally take people's absentee ballots to the county auditor. The ballots are numbered on the envelope. I picked up #3465 this morning. Out of a county of @ 20,000 voters.

My mother went to the local Democratic HQ to pick up yard signs, and they said they were encouraging early voting. They said it will save the campaign time and money, because they won't have to call people who have already voted.

I don't know if I want to do that though...I guess I kinda like the idea of going to the polls. It just seems more fulfulling and "official" I guess. :)

Plus I want to check things out...I doubt there will be anything out of the ordinary, but I keep imagining myself catching a republican shredding ballots or something ;)
