| Any Iowans part of the DU Activists Corp? |
|
Just wondering if any Iowans joined the DU Activist Corp. I have thought about it, but am pretty busy now and am going to be getting a lot busy in a few months once school starts up again.

| 1. I signed up, I hope that it's mostly online work or calls or LTTE |

Those I can do.
When it comes to actually going somewhere my schedule is pretty tight.

After hearing Cindy Sheehan speak about her sons death on Mike Malloy last night and then reading about Andy Stephenson's passing this morning, I couldn't justify not signing up.
I was #884. They are looking for 1000 members. It sounds like one of those things that the more time you put in, the more you get out. Your committment could be for an hour a week to an hour or more a day. A lot of signing petitions, sending emails, etc. I do a lot of that already, but this will be a more coordinated effort here at DU.
Out of this long political darkness a brighter day will come.

I do what I can already, but I like the idea of adding some structure to it. The sheer evilness of this administration has stirred a passion in me.
