3. Thanks for the thought rurallib but I did okay on my own
Strange - usually Seth or Bluzmann jump in and tackle a few of the meanies for me - not this time!

All I said was that after the primaries - when the nominee is determined - that a person who refuses to vote for the nominee or writes in a different candidate's name is being selfish and childish.

I got a lot of "I can't ethically or morally support Barack Obama" and "I have to be true to me" and "I hate you" and "whhhaaaaa"

I really stirred up the $%#@ on that one! Who knew that many Nader supporters were in GD-P last night?

Now I'm back in Iowaland where all is love and happiness :loveya::grouphug: ;)

4. Sorry Debi. Didn't see the thread you are talking about
But to be truthful, I'm not sure I agree with you on this one. But I will have to research this and get back to you. However, I'm going to go out and let off steam this weekend, so I may not be coherent, er, available for a day or so.

14. Oops..
I replied. Have fun with that. Lol.

For what it's worth, I agree with you. I've never understood the animosity between the two camps. When it comes down to it, can anyone honestly say that an Obama Presidency or Clinton Presidency will really be THAT much different? I certainly don't think so. At least not the kind of differences that should lead anyone to stay home.

We say we are the inclusive party, but in reality there is a good share of big ol babies represented here.

2. OMG - did you read that thread?
How much insanity can be put into one little message board?!

(now I must :spank: you for using a derogatory term about a presidential candidates' supporters - not following Cornfield's Law - not nice) But I didn't mention a candidate in my post x( I'll vote for the Democrat - shouldn't all Democrats?

Thank you for thinking of me Hardrada - I was reading some of the mean posts to Mr. Debi during the debate - thought his eyes were going to roll out of their sockets :eyes:

Pttthhhhhh on them :P

8. Well there's only one case this year where I'd consider voting third-party...
...and that is if Hillary is the nominee and she chooses a certain centrist former governor as her running-mate.

10. That's the way I've always understood it.
She'd be a million percent wiser to choose Obama or Wes Clark (pauses for Seth's excitement for the latter to wane...), but I've heard ol' TV's a possibility.

Oh the many things I'd rather see than Vilsack as a running-mate:

16. Or else he'll be appointed ambassador to Pongo Pongo.
I'd like to see the Vilsacks living in a grass hut for a few years. Christie can bring along her straw hat (I know she has one).
:D
