Rove cancels Evansville visit

EVANSVILLE, Ind. -- White House political adviser Karl Rove called off his trip to speak at a Vanderburgh County Republican Party event just hours before the dinner. Rove had been scheduled
as the keynote speaker for Thursday night's Lincoln Day Dinner, but was replaced by national Republican Chairman Mike Duncan.

County GOP Chairman Nicholas Hermann said that Rove's "White House responsibilities will preclude him from traveling to Evansville for this event." (Duties which include getting fitted for his orange jumpsuit... )

Tickets for the dinner cost $100 per person. Tickets that included the reception before the dinner cost $250.

10. I believe it's his Saturday radio talk. Could be more propaganda with a
different breathing and pauses scheduled. The subject line said 'major'.
