Ill. Republican Senate candidate Jack "Mr. Morals" Ryan - Crash and Burn
Anyone else see the most christian moral ethical conservative candidate running for senator crash and burn on TV last night? Chicago's CLTV and Channel 11 had it live.

If it wasn't so pathetically funny and hypocritical, I'd almost feel sorry for the scumbag.

Here is a multi-millionaire who portrays himself as the most ethical, moral, christian candidate who beats everyone on family values.

Turns out he was stalking out the best sex clubs in New York, Las Vegas, New Orleans and Paris, finding the most interactive sex shows he could. He repeatedly tried to get his wife onstage to get into the bondage, torture, whips, sexual devices and even group sex in front of paying customers. She (aka as 7 of 9 in Star Trek Voyager) filed for divorce because of his forceable efforts, and moved to California to continue her acting career.

I guess this puts a whole new spin on Family Values.

Mr Morals turns into Mr. Scum. And with Bush having problems getting on the ticket because his campaign people screwed up, it looks like an interesting political season.

1. I loved his public statement!
He said, "I have always respected my marriage vows..."

This guy brings new meaning to "love, honor, and obey," doesn't he?

What an idiot! As long as he didn't have extramarital sex, he didn't do anything wrong?

When you parade around as THE MORAL CANDIDATE, whips, chains, and cages might be something the voters would like to know about before election day.

Ya think?

Sorry. Just my base, male instincts coming through.

4. hey, whho are the two cuties in the middle?
you wanna run for senator in Illinois? there might be an opening.

The way this guy claimed the moral high ground, the "family values" and the highest ethical standing was pathetic. But repubs bought into it during the election. He was the only candidate that back stabbed like that and who refused to release his divorce docs.

how the mighty have fallen.

But, she is hot, though, no?

5. I watched it on the Chicago channel last night and was appalled by the
way he drug his son into it; saying that if his ex-wife cared at all for her son she would've insisted that the records remained sealed so these "lies" wouldn't be out for him to see. More blaming the victim.

:puke:

7. If he wanted to attend so much to his son's needs he should move
to Ca. as that's where his son lives.

6. Sounds like lots of people live double lives.
I think that should be a theme. Clinton hit on something very important and I hope we don't let it go without giving it the discussion it deserves. He isn't unique in leading a double life. I think it's endemic in this culture where people call themselves Christians in one breath and then rationalize that they can screw over their neighbor in business dealings because it's just biz'niz.

8. I must have missed this.

He has been touting his decision to "quit the rat race to teach school and give back to the community". But I don't recall ever seeing Ryan do a "Christian", "Morals" or "Family Values" thing. Has he been showing those kinds of ads downstate?

9. And a daily Mass goer, too. I hate that. I have always thought they
were the best we had - now I wonder.
