1. So we should leave the Democratic Party?
Where are we going? Green, Libertarian, or Constitution? Looks like even some of them got money.

3. the real problem is that votes should not be bought.
Who wins and who looses should not be based on who has the most cash, who has sucked up most successfully to the wealthy and the corporations. Unless and until we put politicians on the payroll of the public, not just for wages but also for campaign money, politicians will continue to serve those who pay for their elections.

4. I brought this subject up to Dan Hynes.
He was at a County Party meeting telling us about his campaign finance reform initiative. He said the only way to get reform like I was talking about was a Constitutional amendment, so I guess it won't be happening. The only way I see working is equal public financing of candidates with caps. Also limits advocacy groups to issue oriented ads with absolutely no mention of parties or candidates. There would likely be a few other issues that would need to be looked at. No matter how much cash we raise as individuals these pros loot the public treasury and fund themselves with public money anyway.

5. the nascar plan
just make them wear a jacket like the nascar guys, with the logos of their contributors. at least get it out in the open. and count shit like contributions to inaugural balls, issue ads outside the campaign, corporate jet rides, everything. make em put it on their websites. if you are joe lieberman, maybe make them tattoo their forehead- like- mbna.

7. LOL...that would be a great idea!
The bigger the corporate whore, the more of an imbecile they would look like!

And the size of the advertisement should match the size of the donation.
