8. Mike Tice campaigned for Bush
in one of his Minnesota campaign stops. It is all about economics (taxes) with them in professional sports.

a huge number of professional football players (and baseball) are fundamentalist christians, more so than the general population by a country mile.

We all know what happens when you combine blind faith with a capricious sport. boom.

Gibbs and Brunell are fellow evangelicals, and must beleive that God has some soret of plan to eventually give Mark the ability to hit the side of a barn from 20 paces. these are simply the trials of Job, you see.
