Stupid Sonny ad
So now he has an ad that says Mark Taylor ads are $38 million off because they say Sonny's Florida land is $40 million. But it is only worth $2 million! So he thinks to most people a $2 million piece of land is better the a $40 million lot? WTF? I doubt that the average Georgia voter can afford $2 million...idiot...I hope this ad backfires on him.

3. Then we will all be suffering through 4 more Sonny years
I don't like Mark Taylor. I supported Cathy Cox until she pissed my off past the point of no return, but I still voted for her over him. But come this November, I'll be holding my nose and voting for him because no matter what he's still better than that asshat Sonny.

This is war. I'm all for being idealistic, but try to be realistic as well.

4. Realistically I feel Sonny is going to hold on well to his seat : (
There was no grassroots effort, not even signifigant spending. I saw more Cox vs Taylor than Dems vs Sonny on TV and everywhere else. They played it so poorly, they WILL lose.

6. Agreed!
If you support the Democratic Party in Georgia then you support the nominees good, bad or ugly. As bad as Taylor in how can ANYONE say he is worse then Sonny?

5. It's weird
Four years ago I knew a ton of diehard Republicans (of the business-friendly GOP variety) who refused to vote for Sonny because of the flag thing. This year the roles are pretty much reversed -- I can't support Taylor.

7. goobs for gov
Man, I can't believe how bad Taylor and Perdue's ads are. It was Taylor's ads against Cox that made me support Cox. It's the attitude of "I know you're an idiot, so watch while I put one over on you" that sticks in my craw for both of these jack-asses. I'd write in Cox as a protest vote if not for the fact that it won't get counted as going to her.

9. Another ad I hate of Sonny's is the one where he has the
ethnic sounding music in the background. Nice try Sonny, but we know who you roll with!!!

11. Taking down Sonny comes first
I voted for Cox in the primary, but I got over that loss. Please folks, no "protest votes". The GOP has enough seats already in this state; let's not help them secure the biggest one.

Democrats for Santorum!

A Santorum press release:

Harrisburg - During a radio interview late yesterday in Harrisburg, former Senator Zell Miller (D-GA) formally kicked off Democrats for Santorum, a statewide coalition of Democrats dedicated to Senator Santorum's reelection effort. Over 7,000 members strong, Democrats for Santorum is a coalition of Pennsylvanians who share Senator Santorum's commitment to national security, lower taxes, and less government regulation.
During the radio interview, Senator Miller said, "I am not involved in any other race in the country. I am only doing this for Rick Santorum. I believe in Rick Santorum's leadership that much. I believe in his leadership more than anyone else I served with in the US Senate...Rick Santorum was more than just a good friend to me, he was someone I looked up to for guidance."

"Throughout my career in public service, I have been able to accomplish many things by working with members of both parties," said Senator Santorum. "Whether it be by passing the Syria Accountability Act, preserving open space, working to make kids safer on the internet - all initiatives where I partnered with Democrats - I have a record of working for Pennsylvania. The bottom line is that when it comes to Pennsylvania's priorities, I will work with those where I can find common ground to get the job done."

15. I am ashamed to say
that I voted for Zell. Why doesn't he just leave the Democratic party and fully take up the flags for the Repubs?

And why would he be campaigning for Santorum, if I remember correctly, Zell is still a GA resident!? If there is such a love fest between the two, let's help Zell move to Penn, so he can fully support his new buddy!!!

17. You know that's a real good question
Why dosen't Zell Miller switch parties I mean come I have seen DINOS show more loyality to the democratic party then this asshat and now he has the balls to campaign for my disgraceful senator Rick Santorum.

Georgia should be ashamed of this guy who represented the state in the Senate, Zell is a outright disgrace...and a lunatic.

Nothing says that he has to work for only one republican campaign.

14. Zell endorsed Reed in the Lt. Governor race
a candidate with no political experience, and ties to criminal lobbyists (Abramoff).

I don't think Zell is running on all thrusters anymore.
