Hey GA DUers! I met 2 of your candidates who are running for office
at a Democracy for Chattanooga meeting last week.

Sadie Morgan is running for the 2nd District house seat because she thinks that Sony Purdue could use a little more opposition! She's running in the Dade County area, or the GA side of Lookout Mtn. as it is referred to here.

John Bradbury is running against Nathan Deal (yuck) in the U.S. 9th District.

I've contributed money to both of these campaigns and have let it be known that I will stuff envelopes, mail postcards, etc., while trying to work in my county as well.

Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'm trying to help you guys out, too! :hi:

1. Thanks so much!
This state needs all the help it can get when people think SonnyBubba is doing a decent job. I am starting to believe that the majority of the people of this state all tripped and hit their heads at the same time. I'm having a hard time explaining the sheer stupidity of these people otherwise.

2. Ack, note to self never post when just home from a meeting and
spouse and 1 child are talking in my ear and I'm in a hurry - Sony Perdue! Sonny Purdue

This is one area in which the Dean for America campaign is still working. People in NW GA and my area of SE TN met each other and we stay in touch and we try to help each other out! Yes, both states are afflicted with "tripped and hit their heads at the same time" and we need to help each other with money, venues, visibility for candidates, etc.

I grew up in a small town in GA and my mother just recently moved back into GA and she asked me why didn't I move my family back there and my response was, "Sonny Purdue, Saxby Chambliss, and Isaacson, and those who put them into office. I live in a bad enough area, but if I'm gonna uproot my family and move I would like to trade up!" Needless to say she hasn't mentioned it again!

My husband and I are constantly asking where we want to move to when we win the lottery. The bluer the better :)
