I am so jealous! I just got back from spending a few days in your area and I must say it is beautiful. It was my first time to that area (been to Orlando). Your beaches are just lovely. And the white sand...my lord. I wish they could ship some of that sand over to Galveston, TX. :)

Here are a few pics I took:

There's plenty more but I won't bore you all with the rest. I took plenty of video too. I can't wait to go back next time. We had a great time.

Great pics.

2. Okay, is there a joke in there somewhere?
Fill me in. And btw, when passing through Alabama, I read where they do have beach areas with the white sand and all. But by the time you get to Biloxi and Gulfport the clear water and white sands disappear. If you look on the US map it's like the panhandle of Florida should really be a part of Alabama.

3. Panama City is my hometown
The beaches in the Panhandle are truly the best I've ever encountered, and IMHO are superior even to the ones in the Sarasota area.

However, the Panhandle is also as Republican red as an area can be.

4. Be sure to see the Dread Clampitt band at the Red Bar Sundays noon-3pm
and other gigs in the area. Much fun.

5. I'm from Jacksonville, FL
and lived in Pensacola Beach for years and years.

Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world... coupled with teeming throngs of Republican assholes, abusive redneck cops, and wrath of god caliber hurricanes.

I'm in California now and it suits me muuuuuuuuuuch better.
