For Polk County Commission. He is a Democrat who is respected by many local Republicans who are disgusted with their own party.

On the heels of two very successful receptions and a number of other appearances, Robert will be debating his opponent Monday night at Webber University. The event will be broadcast live on PGTV. For those who have not yet seen the VERY entertaining League Forum from last week, it's also being rebroadcast on PGTV, on channels 19 (Brighthouse) and 33 (Comcast) and streaming video on the Internet. In case you didn't hear, Robert has been endorsed again, and now has a list that includes the Polk County Voters League, the West Central Florida Federation of Labor, the East Polk County Association of Realtors, the Florida Restaurant Association Polk Chapter, the Lake Wales News, Ft. Meade Leader, Polk County Democrat (Bartow) and The Ledger, as well as the Lake Wales Association of Realtors.
Robert was also endorsed by Betty Hill, the former Republican candidate in the district 2 race, as well a Ken Richardson, a former Republican commissioner from district 1.
