and so it begins.
with the budget passed and on it's way to prickscott we Floridians are in for some harsh realities.

The developers have been given the green light to pave over what they want, the corporations have been given tax cuts, and medicaid is on its way to being a thing of the past.

meanwhile the unemployed take it on the chin by having their benefits limited further. For some reason I think this will lead to a lowering of the minimum wage in the state, they might even have to call special session to do it. Afterall, how can companies pay such an exorbitant amount? The workers will have to take the jobs or risk losing the u.c and going on welfare for which they'll have to pay for drug tests in order to get food stamps.

Our homes will again shrink in value and our homeowners insurance premiums will increase another 25% to further line the pockets of company executives.

Our electric power bills will increase due to our legislature feeling there is not enough sunshine here to even think about using solar energy.

Our roads and highways will become more congested and that will cause our auto insurance premiums to rise due to more accidents.

At least we won't have to worry about Mickey Mouse voting in the next election thanks to our ever vigilant representatives.
