According to this poll, Penelas is dead in the water.
Deutch's last big stand appears to be the ads going after Castor on the Al-Arian issue.
According to his campaign, Deutch is hoping that the endorsement of Jesse Jackson will help him with minority turnout. He'll do well in South Florida. Alcee Hastings, who endorsed Deutch, faces a primary challenge that same day.
The lack of any Penelas traction will help Deutch, especially in South Florida, where he needs as big a victory as possible.

The survey, conducted by Mason-Dixon Polling & Research and released Wednesday, shows that Castor leads with 45 percent of likely Democratic voters. Deutsch had 31 percent, and Miami-Dade Mayor Alex Penelas had 9 percent, with 14 percent undecided. Hollywood businessman Bernard Klein had 1 percent.
The poll, conducted Monday and Tuesday, had a margin of error of 4.5 percentage points.
Castor's 14-point lead is only slightly less than her 16-point advantage a month ago, but there are far fewer undecided voters left in play.
