Housing Costs Keep Many Away (Orlando Sentinel)

I wasn't sure where to post this, it isn't exactly breaking news. But it brings up an interesting topic that I think a lot of media is missing.

For a while my husband and I were thinking of selling our house and "upgrading" but we've been put off by the cost of new homes. And we wondered, we do OK financially and are still having a tough time finding a nice house in our range - how the heck are families making $40,000 doing it?

I think this could be a hot campaign issue if we use it correctly.

1. It's a double-edged sword in Central Florida
It's housing prices are skyrocketing, while it has very supressed (median) incomes.
