KNRC radio, that featured liberal talk show host Enid Goldstein from noon to 3pm, is permanently discontinuing operations.

Enid is/was a good, solid liberal, anti-Bush talk show host. Let's hope that she finds someplace else to work in the Denver radio market.

1. If she is that good, maybe she needs to go to Air America . . .

Some of those shows on there are only because the person was famous before they got there as well as putting up some of the money. On the other hand, there is Randi Rhodes. None of the "celebs" that now have a political talk show on Air America can compare with this woman's quick wit, unbelievable memory, she must have a photographic memory to remember as much as she does, plus making it all laughable while she does it. However, the others get all the perks. I think Randi is still sitting in a part of the station where she has no AC. Maybe we ought to take up some money, a Randi Rhodes Needs Air Fund, and buy her something where she will be comfortable.

For example, at the Convention, they put Randi on the 9th floor round at the Fleets (enema) Center and she said she was looking at balloons while her people were running the floor for interviews for her own safety. Because right up front there where the conservative propaganda rag radio heads . . . Hannity, O'Reilly, (gag) Neil Boortz (libertarian my ass). However, O'Franken was walking the floor, Janene Garafalo was walking the floor (with Sean Hannity hollering at her accusing her of being "scared" to take him on). Hell, Randi interviewed Joan Jett who was walking the floor. But they take Randi's ID so she cannot leave the floor for her OWN PROTECTION. I think it was for the protection of the right-wing propaganda heads that got front row and center.

This is the DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION. Randi should be front and center. Let these conservative talk shows be front and center at their own convention. This is a bunch of BS. Typical though. She doesn't have the "celebrity" they have. Give her another year or two. That loud little lady will own that station.

When those that have the powers that be realize Randi Rhodes is carrying this station, maybe they will bring in more political radio hosts instead of celebrities who dream of being political talk show hosts.

2. THIS SUCKS!

What a let down... no we have NO progressives on Denver radio. It came as a complete shock to Enid (she just found out this morning.) Here's contact info. for local media if you want to recommend her for some kind of show:
