Green Party of Colorado endorses HR 4789
Maybe the Democratic Party should do the same thing? I know Congressman Polis and DeGette are co-sponsors:

Green Party of Colorado endorse Rep. Alan Grayson’s 'Medicare for All' bill, HR 4789

"Be it resolved that the Green Party of Colorado endorse Rep. Alan Grayson’s 'Medicare for All' bill, HR 4789, originally proposed By Poudre Valley Green Party."

Unlike the weak, compromised so-called health insurance reform recently passed by Congress that would leave in place the primacy of the 'for-profit model', HR 4789 would be a significant change that moves America towards a universal, public insurance system.

The Poudre Valley Green Party asked the Green Party of Colorado to endorse HR 4789, to contact Colorado’s elected Senators and Congressional representatives to support this bill, to make our position known through newspapers, blogs and other media, and to raise the issue at candidate forums.

Passed by consensus May 1, 2010, Florence, Colorado, GPCO State Meeting.
