Fremont County Group Fighting Uranium Mine
I've attached a link for a grassroots movement in Colorado, that is trying to stop development of a six mile long open pit Uranium mine in Fremont County, Colorado. In addition to the mine, the developers also want to re-open a milling operation (already a Superfund site) in the middle of a highly populated area. The mine will contaminate Arkansas river water.

... Jeeez, I had no idea this was happening just down the road from me. Scary.

Please watch the short film on the web site, it's a real eye-opener.
