Two opportunities for campaign training - one is from DFA
Two exciting opportunities to receive campaign training are coming to Colorado. Learn how you can best support your Democratic Candidates with these two events:

You Have the Power--Now Get the Skills!

Democracy for Colorado, the new grassroots progressive organization, is pleased to announce a major milestone on the road to taking our State and Country back. In partnership with Democracy for America and 21st Century Democrats, we will train you in Denver on July 10th and 11th to grow your political skills and connect you to campaigns that need your help.

Register at http://www.21stdems.org/training/dfatrainings.cfm by June 30th.

This excellent opportunity will feature:

* sessions led by experienced campaign professionals
* expert overviews of Colorado's political environment
* 21st Century Democrats' proven field organizer curriculum
* representatives from Democratic campaigns throughout Colorado

When you head home Sunday night, you will understand the tactics that successful campaigns use to win races at all levels. You'll know how to:

* write an effective field plan
* target key swing and base voters
* develop winning messages
* raise funds for candidates and organizations
* earn free media coverage
* organize phone banks and canvasses
* motivate and manage volunteers
* speak powerfully to voters and volunteers
* assess campaigns to determine where to invest your effort
* develop an action plan for yourself or your volunteer group

Sign up now at http://www.21stdems.org/training/dfatrainings.cfm because seats are available on a first come, first served basis. Thanks to the generous support of Democracy for America, the cost to you for both days of intensive training is only $45! We will meet from 9 to 6:30 both days

at:

Pipe Fitters Local Union No. 208
6350 Broadway
Denver, CO 80216-1012

If you want to make a difference, you can't afford to miss this. If you want to help a local progressive campaign to victory, to raise awareness of an issue effectively, to keep your volunteer organization vibrant and active, or just to lead instead of follow, then this is essential and practical training for you.

Register at http://www.21stdems.org/training/dfatrainings.cfm before June 30th to guarantee your space.
