We still have to get rid of Beauprez, Tancredo and Musgrave. But we won't have to deal with the redistricting moves and at least have a base from which to build! Given his personal life, I hope any endorsements from our governor won't hold as much weight as they might have in the past.
What happened here helps brighten an other wise gloomy morning.
I'm not from Colorado but this sounds like a great victory for you guys. Despite a traditionally GOP leaning state in a presidential election year where Christian fundamentalists turned out in record numbers for Dubya, you guys managed to take the legislature AND win the US Senate seat, one of the only two that dems won.
