Hollywood Vs. Arnold

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger got some bad news this week. Poll numbers show his approval rating has dropped 20 points since January. Only 40 percent of the public now approve of the job he's doing.

And now, even his own tight-knit Hollywood community is breaking ranks from their fellow celebrity, and criticizing the governor.

He comes from a world of glamour, money, fame, and very closed ranks. Hollywood has always protected its own. But now there's a crack in the armor, and it all began with a recent speech by one of the most established stars, Warren Beatty.

"A Schwarzenegger Republican is a Bush Republican who calls himself a Schwarzenegger Republican," said Beatty.

And that's all it took for many other celebs to open up about Arnold to our CBS 5 camera.

"All I can say is if he promises not to give me advice in politics, I promise him not to give him advice in acting," said Schwarzenegger.



I really don't think Warren Beatty is worried about arnold giving him acting advice. Beatty is a master at his craft. arnold is just a master of crap.
