Why Don't Ya'll Recall Arnold?
I mean, pardon a Floridian for butting in, but he is doing all this dirty political stuff he said he wouldn't, especially with regard to fundraising.

So, why not recall Arnold?

1. Second that emotion.
Don't pardon an ex Californian for butting in. I had the same reaction when I heard about his latest fund raising stunts. He is a disgrace. Throw the bum out.

An admiring expatrioit of the Golden State.

A beautiful site to see.

2. Because it will be hard enough to beat the son of a bitch in 2006
It will be even more difficult to convince the unconvinced a move like that isn't just politics.

We'll have better chances waiting.

3. Is this Califronia bashing?
Well, we deserve it. Of course, I didn't vote for the recall and I certainly didn't vote for Arnold.

I am so grateful to the nurses for all they have done to decrease Arnold's popularity.

4. Getting rid of Davis took the supreme efforts of
one rich individual to put up millions of his own dollars - and he lost his butt in the deal. Not likely another one will try it any time soon.

5. Although....
Although I don't like him as a governor, (as he cut education funding, and my tuition for college has gone up) I like the fact that his progressive stance on stem cells and abortion piss off those of his own party.

8. Any election before 2006 won't have paper trails
and could be rigged. I'm not sure the exact date in 2006 when the new law requiring paper trails on voting machines kicks in.

That's why we're focusing on stopping the special election Arnold wants. The mobilization effort statewide is amazing.

Here in San Diego, we'll be holding an April Fool's Day "Don't Be Fooled By Arnold" rally and press release. Teams will be dispatched to pass out flyers throughout the city urging people not to sign Arnold's petitions and to stop the $70 million special election. Freeway bloggers will deliver messages via overpasses to hundreds of thousands of commuters.

If you want to plan a similar event in your area, e-mail me for details on ours. I'll post specifics on our rally and press release as soon as we have the place for our event nailed down.

Meanwhile, any San Diegans who want to help with freeway blogging please email Martha at [email protected]

There's a DEFEAT ARNOLD Yahoo! group with lots of helpful materials, such as the door knockers (see my other post here to download the file).

California for Democracy (www.californiafordemocracy.org) has a hotline to report sightings of Arnold's petition gatherers, plus materials to pass out and counter the petitioners' messages.
