Republicans deregulated energy

their energy broker friends then blackmail us out of billions

the Republicans blame our Democratic governor for a deficit about equal to what we were scammed out of and use that as an excuse to demand a recall

Arnold meets with king of energy scammers, Ken Lay, during rolling blackouts and becomes a candidate.


Once elected, Arnold makes no move to recover our billions from energy scammers, and says best way to prevent a future crisis is to deregulat more. He also takes big donations from these guys.

This is pretty transparent racketeering. Why hasn't this been a front page story in any California newspaper?

5. The corporate media still plays along with him, but the nurses and Indians

have been putting commercials on both TV and radio criticizing him for a few months now and I think it's finally starting to sink in with the general public. The corporate media (well at least the LA Times) has been dutifully reporting his gradual decline in approval ratings, although the TV and radio so far will only admit to a decline in his approval among Democrats. Nurses, teachers and Indian tribes have turned against Schwarznegger in a big way, and only the Indian tribes with casinos have the deep pockets to pay for expensive TV commercial time. Schearzenegger is nothing more than a whore to business interests, and the commercial media in Calif. is nothing more than a groupie to Arnold. (Except for the LA Times, which acts more like the vindictive ex-lover)

it's been a meme here for ages, let alone other blogs, AAR, indie news, etc.

stop reading it. ignore it. snidely laugh in the face of anyone who asks you if you read anything in the latest Corporate Whore Media paper in 'any city' CA.

is there a way to get the info out? yes. but it's going to have to be word of mouth. and you'd be surprised at the good level of reporting in those free newspapers, like SF Guardian, East Bay Express, etc. i wouldn't be surprised if this info has already been reported in one of them. in fact, what you are talking about sounds vaguely reminiscent of an article i came across in the Guardian. but that was ages ago, and i doubt the library keeps microfiche of them as they do other CWM papers.
