Call Feinstein and Boxer on Monday & tell them back Durbin for min leadr
The opposition is Harry Reid who has a history of caving on anti-choice, anti-environmental, anti-disability-rights, anti-civil-rights nominees. Reid also backed Goss, who plans to use CIA against us in the U.S.

Durbin has been one of the strongest voices against Bush in the Senate - never caving in to pressure. He is our best hope for defeating Alberto the Torturer for AG and at keeping the court pro-choice. Kennedy's not in the running, though you might recommend him for whip.

3. This train has left the station
Reid is going to be the Minority Leader he has the votes.

People can call to express their opinion, but he's in.

4. AFAIC
Boxer and Feinstein both need to be replaced anyway.

I've gotten zero feedback at all from either of them on any issue I've ever raised. And I'm of the opinion that every single Senator who was serving in 2000 and refused to support the Congressional Black Caucus will no longer get my vote. Ever.
