Hope they do their cover of "Roller Coaster." Didn't like the original but their cover always makes me laugh. Is totally representative of the last few months of this election.

on edit- Just a silly aside: my son always grills me about who is singing on a progressive rock station when he's in the car. He completely controls the radio and says,"who's this?" I respond, "well it's not Incubus. . ."

He laughs at me and says, "yes it is. You always do that."

This morning on his way to school the Red Hot Chili Peppers were on and for some strange reason, I said, "It's the Red Hot Chile Bananas." He said, "Your wrong again mommy." I said, "I wish you liked bananas." He rolled his eyes. Ahhhhh motherhood is grand.

Tom Harkin was there also. Ispoke to him for awhile while he was waiting to be introduced. Barbara said that over $ 500,000 was raised. The Peppers played a tight but abbreviated set. The cover they played was "Brandy ( you're a fine girl)" The version of "Under the Bridge" was the best I've heard.
Flea mentioned "Hillary Clinton has pretty eyes." The crowd roared and Anthony smiled and said "yeah. So do you , Flea"

The speeches were great , but I'm like a dem groupie now, I knew all the words. Although Hillary sounded much more populist than usual.
