ur SB 840 Campaign has exciting strategies for successful passage of this landmark legislation this fall.
But we're doubly challenged as our Health Care for All / State Strategy Group coalition* must also oppose AB x11, the Governor's mandatory junk insurance plan.
HCA's executive team, headed by Andrew McGuire, needs added cash to increase professional staff, to prepare new campaign materials, develop media awareness programs and expand grassroots education and lobbying efforts.
Here are three ways you can help right now.
1) If you can, please make a personal donation to help us kick off this year.
https://secure.democracyinaction.org/dia/organizations/HCA_CA/shop/custom.jsp?donate_page_KEY=1500&t=simple.dwt 2) Forward this email to others who could be significant donors to this most important and compelling campaign. When ASKED, people are often eager to help bring a lifetime of true health protection to every Californian.
3) We'll help you hold a House Party with your friends to spread the word and hopefully raise small donations.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAWZrfYXs-c and to learn about SB 840. To make it easy, keep it informal and small, with as few as10 friends and family, neighbors or work associates. Invitations and party guides are available at our OneCareNow website. Your HCA Chapter House Party Coordinator will provide you with an Expert Guest Speaker who will bring and introduce the video, answer questions, make the appeal for funds and mail in the donations.
Donations to HCA are not tax deductible, but for tax-deductible donations, you may write checks to our HCA Education Fund. Do it online or mail either to: Health Care for All, 401-F Miller Ave #135, Mill Valley, CA 94941.
Raising money for single-payer reform often becomes an infectious, viral activity and personally rewarding.
