yet another DU CA Campout thread- I need tentative RSVPs

It looks like we're going to Big Basin in September or October, unless something comes up!

I'm not asking for a promise to make it, just approximate numbers.

What I need to know (good guesses are fine) so I can call and check availible dates:

# of people in your party
if you plan to bring your own vehicle
any rvs or people planning to rent a cabin rather than use a tent
any other special needs or accomodations that need to be planned for

Special needs: We absolutely insist on a level tent site!!! Been there, done that. Beyond that, we're easy ;)

Tent site - level.

Parking near tent - level.

Plan to sleep in vehicle but want tent possibility for sleep and definitely for naps, clothes changing, etc.

Would be good to have some shade.

I can walk but sometimes use a cane.

Prefer Sequoia campground if only one group site reserved.

one vehicle. With Mom's health stufff we'll probably be looking at the little cabins they have there. Big Basin and our family go w-a-y back. :) I can't count the number of summer trips that started at the Santa Cruz boardwalk and ended up at Big Basin for an overnight. I absolutely love it there.

My family has had a very difficult time this
last couple of weeks . Nothing compared to the
huricane victims but we will be unable to afford
any extras like camping . It'll be all I can do
to get a Bart ticket into the city on the 24th .

I actually put in an application for a job :-(
hopefully I'll get something that will allow me
to continue to be here for my son in the afternoons
and school holidays.

How about bringing a tent and setting it up on our, or someone else from DU's, tent cabin site?

How about giving someone a ride if they pay for gas?

I have been sick since the protest -- I just dragged myself back to work this week, but have really been struggling. Finally got checked out yesterday and I have bronchitis. :(

This weekend it's gonna be me, the couch, some soup, and Netflix.
