Jack Jackson is dropping out (1st District)
Just got the email newsletter from Jack Jackson, Jr.

<snip>
"Regretfully, I am writing to inform you of my intent to withdraw from the race for Arizona’s First Congressional District. I have worked hard over the last 10 months to build a strong and viable campaign in order to face Rick Renzi in November. Unfortunately, the financial requirements of a congressional campaign proved too difficult to meet this time."

1. Jackson was abandoned by the DCCC
After being encouraged to run by Rahm Emanuel of the DCCC to run he was later abandoned by the DCCC when he did not raise $200,000 dollars.(he only raised $160,000) Phone calls were not returned etc. Do not count on the DCCC when asked to run. I am deeply disappointed by this.
