looking for an independent coffee shop in tempe

i already know about the muse, coffee plantation (not really independent) and mills end. was going to try aurora espresso tonight - anyone been there? any other suggestions? my friends and i are looking for a new hang out and are sick of the ubiquitous starbucks!

A great site for finding all the independent businesses in arizona is Arizona Chain Reaction: www.azcr.org

I did a quick search and found at least 3 independent coffee shops in Tempe.

4. If you don't mind driving a little into downtown Scottsdale,

Jamaican Blue is a good spot, and it is across the street from a Starbucks, so they could use all the customers they can get.
