Yesterday Slater71 mentioned the crawl on MSNBC
before the VP debate that mentioned Bush's guard records. I saw it too and didn't get to review it on Tivo until now. Here is what it said.

Texas National Guard produces two documents on Pres. Bush's military service including his orders for his last day of service in l973. The orders show Mr. Bush was on " no-fly " status for his last days of active duty because he had been grounded almost a year earlier for skipping an annual medical exam.

Whay haven't we heard more about this ?

AP Suit Produces More Bush Guard Records

WASHINGTON More than a week after a court-imposed deadline to turn over all records of President Bush's military service, the Texas Air National Guard belatedly produced two documents Tuesday that include Bush's orders for his last day of active duty in 1973.

The orders show Bush was on "no-fly" status for his last days of duty because he had been grounded almost a year earlier for skipping an annual medical exam.

The files, released to The Associated Press under a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, are orders for Bush to appear for two stints of active-duty training: a 1971 exercise in Canada and eight days of duty in July 1973.

The records released Tuesday are the fifth set of documents related to Bush's Vietnam-era National Guard service to be released in response to the AP lawsuit. The federal judge overseeing that case ordered the Pentagon to disclose all of Bush's records by Sept. 24. Tuesday's four pages of records were the second set of files released after that deadline.

4. Any time, Kerry fan
It's odd that only "Editor and Publisher" picked up an AP story on a subject that was so hot a week or two ago.

3. Not aired on TV Cable or Radio - Is the media owned by the RW GOP?
or do they just act like it?

:-)

5. I've been waiting and watching because I knew this judicial order
was out there concerning the AP suit. I was wondering when it was going to take place and assumed that it must be that they really didn't find anything in those records. Goddamnit. This goes right to the heart of all the fingerpointing and fuss on this issue and all these media whores are afraid to pick it up and be seen as a "Rather". Disgusting.
