More on earpiece during debate - photos
I just got this email so if this is already here somewhere, please let me know and Ill edit.

In the middle of an answer bush said, "now let me finish" as if someone was interrupting him- yet nobody did- he was talking to the person in his earpiece.

The evidence clearly indicates that W used an earpiece during the debate and on other occasions. The pictures above appeared separately on other sites - notably here
http://accelerated-promotions.com/consumer-electronics/... and - here
http://www.bluelemur.com/index.php?p=321
but the comparison proves quite telling.

The receiver is a much larger device, and is usually worn in front. However, Bush had to wear a standard television microphone plus a backup mic during the debate, and these are usually fitted by network technicians over the chest. The only way to hide the receiver was to affix it to the back.

Go here http://www.canofun.com/blog/videos/BushAndTheOddSync.wm... and you'll hear the CNN feed from Bush at the D-Day memorial. The microphones accidentally picked up the signal transmitted into Bush's earpiece. You can plainly hear a phantom voice feeding Bush his lines. (Note: On some systems, you may have to right-click the link and save the file.)

This video was not doctored; many viewers heard the voice during the live broadcast. See, for example, this testimony

1. This piece
http://64.233.161.104/search?q=cache:2l7Ge1kz6EgJ:www.p... outlines a truly high-tech approach. The only problem: How to bring such a device covertly into the debate hall.

2. Right-wing bloggers have ignored this issue, concentrating on Kerry's use of (gasp! shudder!) a pen during the debate. Conservatives would have us believe that Kerry "cheated" because he jotted down a couple of notes while Bush spoke. Unfortunately, the same video which proves Kerry's use of a "concealed weapon" also
shows Bush unfolding a crib sheet and placing it on the podium.

1. To be honest
This is about as dumb as Kerry and the pen thing. It doesn't really matter. If Bush DID have an earpiece in with Rove telling him what to say he wouldn't have lost so horribly.

<sarcasm>If it weren't for that blasted pen Kerry brought onstage, Bush wouldn't have gotten crushed so badly</sarcasm>

At first I lent each claim credence. Upon thinking on the matter further, both items are just grasping at straws.

2. Just posting what I was sent
I have no real opinion on it. I agree that if he were being fed answers he wouldnt have looked so plainly stupid, but the bulge on his back is kinda curious...

3. "The bulge on my back...
...was from a bullet proof vest I had on underneath. No one was talking ta me in an earpiece during the debatement, and anyway, since then the imbecile has been hung from the rafters for feeding me such idiotic rebutterances.

Thank you, and may God continue to bless the United States of Amerka and no one else.

6. Really gettin tired of threads on this.
Urban legend, gossip, amateur wannabe detectives, and a silly diversion from the important issues at hand.

8. I remember hearing that during the WW2 ceremony & coming to the
conclusion that he was wearing an earpiece! Thank you for the video link. We have a right to know if the coWard is sneaky or if he is unable to communicate without covert assistance.
