Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 02:30 PM by blm
The Cowboy or the Deer in the Headlight?

This might be a good question to push around to mock Bush NO MATTER WHICH of his personalities show up on Friday at the debate.

5. He will start out nice
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 02:33 PM by Rambis
then half way through he will get the "somebody shit in my cereal" look and it will go down hill from there. If Kerry or an audience member can piss him off just enough he will show his true colors and you can stick a fork in him because he will be well done.

6. The medicated one.
Will be interesting to see which type of meds Rove will pick; alert and bouncy pill with the risk of temper tantrum if things go poorly or the keep his temper under wraps pill with the risk that he will fall asleep and melt into a puddle of inert wooziness

7. Actually he started out better than I thought he would
in the first one. He had a good first half hour - but it was all down hill when it got to substance so it doesn't matter.

9. He is what he is - A Man of Values - Isn't that his story?
So stalwart, so resolute, SOOO how could he come out at the debate
acting any other way than we have seen him (blustering around, always walking tits first, smirking and swaggering) throughout his
entire presidency without losing credibility?

10. Since when is Bush a "nice guy"??
Everytime I have the displeasure of listening to him, he sounds like what he is.... A spoiled little fucknugget born with a silverspoon up his nose who has never been held accountable to anything or anyone in his life. And it's time for that to end.

12. Sh...yeah, I know, but we're spreading a meme here. ;)
Remember how nasty they were to Gore when they accused him of acting differently at each debate? Well...Bush deserves everything we can throw at him.

14. "Nice Guy" will show up. But when he gets a tough question or Kerry
zings him with a crack about how he likes hard work or calls him for the "bring it on" statement about nukes he will turn into his old peevish self.

20. arrogant sob
"Let me finish!" ring a bell?
Remember Kerry won Iowa partially by talking with regular Iowans, he's not the arrogant guy the media wants us to believe he is, he's actually the oppostie.

21. Paranoid freak under pressure will show up and that should be
oh so interesting. Bush came into debate one with a book of rules to protect his paranoid self and still couldn't manage to hold it together. Kerry got over the 'hump', proved himself and got a lot of the media whores off his back. This time you add a ton of pressure to the paranoia and this is going to be priceless to watch. Kerry, while doing a very good and strong debate, still did not do as excellent as I've seen him do. With the monkey off his back (excuse the pun), you are going to see Kerry at is 'most excellent' ...and that adds more pressure to the paranoia of the little freak.

22. Nice and then head downhill pretty fast
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 03:53 PM by txindy
once the Kerry supporters start asking * questions and actually expecting coherent answers. They aren't going to let him get away with non-answers. One challenge and he'll lose it. Being publicly challenged in the first debate by John Kerry, a U.S. Senator, is one thing and we saw how much * resented that challenge. Being publicly challenged in the next debate by the 'little people' like us will send * rocketing off the edge, ESPECIALLY if JK handles *'s supporters with grace and intelligence -- and that last is a slam dunk.

24. Perhaps "Forest Ranger George" will show up ...
... he'll babble in a folksy way about different species of trees on his ranch -- then chainsaw the moderator's desk to pieces when he's admonished for going off-topic.

25. Please don't think he will make the same mistakes twice!
It would be great, but I highly doubt it. He will come off fine, and Kerry and his advisers would be stupid to think otherwise.

28. But, that's why this works. ANOTHER George Bush shows up and ???
Now do you get it? Remember how Gore was criticized for not being the same at each debate?

I say we start looking for ANOTHER George Bush to show up so we can capitalize on it. It doesn't MATTER how he does, if he's DIFFERENT we dump on him for putting on an act.

27. Full charm mode armed with all the facts. Will rip Kerry to shreds.
Bush is a master of the town hall format, especially if he is armed witht he facts as he undoubtedly will be. No way he'll come unprepared again. Tell all your friends and write letters to the editor.
