22. Did it too

Let 'em have it with all guns, politely asking where they cash the checks from Rove.

4. Aaron Brown knows that Gallup after debate poll
(not on line poll) has Kerry at 53% to *'s 37% -- He opened with that, he was just constantly spinning it!

17. That was their spin -- even the repukes were saying that
but they said that Gallup is considered a conservative poll, slanted to repukes, so the numbers really showed that Kerry did a good job.

8. Done.
My message:

What debate was Aaron Brown watching? Even the right-wing fanatics at Free Republic have conceded that Kerry slammed Bush to the mat with this debate. Bush could barely even put together a coherent statement, and was forced to drop back to four catch phrases he kept repeating over and over. How many times did he say "Mixed messages," anyway? He couldn't even run on his record in Iraq, instead resorting to trying to portray Kerry as unable to fix the mess he's created. And foreign policy was supposed to be Bush's strong suit! Are you even ATTEMPTING to be an unbiased news source, or have you officially declared yourselves FOX Jr? Because know this: You will NEVER have the support from the right that FOX has. Your company is seen as a joke from the right-wing, and a disgrace from the left. Your continued efforts to slant yourselves further and further right are doing nothing but dooming your network to a lifetime of obscurity, grasping desperately at the scraps dropped from FOX's table. I hope you realize this before it becomes too late to regain any shred of credibility you once had as a serious and professional news organization.

15. wrote him
I started off nicely, just saying to look at the online polls. Pointed out how Bush was fumbling around and repeating himself while Kerry was on top of every issue.

But in the end I got pissed and told them they needed to look in the mirror and that they are corrupt assholes! LOL

Mr. Brown:

It baffles me no end to hear that you think Thursday's debate between Bush and Kerry was a draw. My faith in you as an objective journalist is shaken. It's my sad conclusion that you've finally succumbed, and are now drinking Karl Rove's Kool-Aid.

19. my response
Rating it a tie they are picking the options that has the least support in polls. If you look at the numbers the number of people who thought it was a tie is smaller than the people that thought that BUSH won. Most people thought Kerry did a better job. Propaganda at its best. But they couldn't say Bush won thats
obvious. The minority opinion "a tie" is getting the majority spin. Its BS

20. I tried and the server isn't working
on CNN's site when you try to send e-mail! And I've got a high-speed broadband connection! My guess is that they're getting way too much mail and they just can't handle it--or they don't want to! Hee-hee. I'm going to keep trying though. I've got plenty to say to all of them this morning.

21. Here's my email to him:
Mr Brown:

The debate was "a draw?!" Were we watching the same debate? Have you seen the post-debate polling? And how much is Karl Rove paying you?

Or, better yet, lemme type this as Bush would say it:

Umm... ummmm.. uhhh.. The debate "a draw?" Ummm.. uhh.. Were we.. uhhh.. watchin' th' same debate? You seen the, umm, post debate pollin'? And... ... ... umm.. how much is my boss payin' ya?

Cheers,
Tom D

24. My response
Mr. Brown,

Did I hear you correctly? Did you really call the debate a draw?

How can a rational person conclude that the debate was a draw after hearing President Bush say that we had to invade Iraq because we were attacked, that he wants to put his daughters "on a leash" a la abu Ghraib, that he thinks that a consistent WRONG foreign policy denotes strength, that it is hard work to "love" the widow of a soldier that died in his ill-conceived war? The president, in perhaps the most revealing remark of the night confused Osama and Saddam. Apparently, Mr. Bush has begun to believe his own administration's efforts to confuse the American public about Saddam's involvement in September 11 in order to justify the invasion of Iraq. Furthermore, I was struck by the President's petulant and angry demeanor; I found his behavior childish and not at all presidential.

The fact that you conclude the debate to be a draw in direct contradiction to the first polls clearly indicating that the public judged Kerry to be the winner, proves how out of touch and partisan you have become.

28. Here's mine
Dear Mr. Brown: By calling last night's debate a tie, I can only guess that you were judging this using the official Special Olympics Debate Rules, and were attempting to be kind to the obvious Special Needs candidate. Keep your sympathies at home while you are at work, if you please, and try to save the few shreds of credibility that remain of your program. Or not.
