I think Kerry just won the election.
Bush just looks beet red and seems desparate with Kerry. Kerry looks more confident, more eloquent, and makes Bush look like a criminal that is trying to defend himself in vain yet is guilty.

Kerry may have won some voters over tonight.

However, I still disagree with him on Iraq. Kerry wants to continue the U.S. military presence. I say no but it is (I hope!) political manuevering.

GO JOHN GO!!

6. Bush has this "Uh...Karl???" look.
I wonder how the mainstream media is going to spin this one?

5. Kerry is relaxed, confident and making sense.
Bush is having a fizzy fitt. He's now starting to call names. He's repeating himself.

OMG, he's taking out a pint of Jack Daniels, no, please Mr. President, don't. it's not worth it......

13. Playing to dittoheads would be futile!
He's hitting it out of the park with the actual majority of the country- tugging on the better angels. This is how to win.

16. Agreed. Playing to the dittoheads
would be like trying to win in Texas. You gotta go for the people who can still be persuaded, and not assume they're stupid.

9. Well I will say this...
if the "undecided" American public can't see the difference between these two candidates (one man, one infantile), then we are truly as a nation

12. Bush is trying to defend himself....
in vain. If he wins, it will be through cheating the voters.

15. It's a replay of the Kennedy-Nixon debates - and bunkerboy is TOAST!
Short of glistening sweating, bunkerboy had it all:

Dear in the Headlights look
Smirking
Disgusted look
Umming and silence

It was real damning for bunkerboy

But don't worry, his synchophants will never see it.

18. Bush looked scared as hell

do you think he had an earpiece. Seemed that way with all of those pauses. He came off as a robot, repeating platitudes and cliches that meant nothing at all. He looked horrific. His body language and his smirks were a practiced tool that did not come off as a serious approach to this ver serious subject.

Bush did not defend his policies effectively--of course that is because he had to make it all up.
