If Gep and Kerry get knocked out I'm going with Edwards
I like Kerry as my first choice, and Gep as my second but I admit things aren't looking real good right now for either of them. If they both don't make it, then I like John Edwards.

He was my first pick a long time ago, but I shifted to others later on. Still, I like him and I think he is vastly underestimated. He just might be the sleeper candidate in this race.

1. When's your primary?
Think Edwards will still be in it by then?

4. My primary is really late and doesn't count for anything
And I think Dean will win here anyway.

5. Mine's late, I'm voting Kucinich!!!
I don't think my vote will be needed either so I decided to vote for Dennis quite a while ago. Otherwise, I'll fight for Kerry, Clark, Edwards, whoever is going places.

9. Vote your heart and your conscience in the primary.
Then ABB in November.

To paraphrase the Big Dawg, fall in love during the primaries, but fall in line for the General Election.

3. He's got good ideas - I'm surprised he hasn't gained more traction.
It will be interesting to see how he does in Iowa where he's put in a lot of effort.

10. SC is make or break..
..for Edwards.

A 3rd or 4th place in Iowa and NH will keep him in the game, but he must win in SC for any momemtum going into Super Tuesday.

Edwards is more worried about Sharpton in SC than Dean in NH.

7. Edwards has been my favorite from the start. But I like Clark and Kerry.
I just want us to put up the BEST candidate, the guy who can beat AWOL and help bring this country together.

14. looking at Edward's healthcare plan on his website.....
...I like the fact that Edwards admits that the working poor or self-employed or small-business employees that are 50-65 years of age is where the real healthcare disaster is. Kids and younger people are generally healthy, or have minor ailments. But when you get 50 or older, that is when you really need healthcare. I myself am self-employed and would probably have no health insurance (or pay out the ass for it!) but for the fact that I am covered by the VA due to the time of my service (Cold War).

Edwards has moved up a lot in my estimation in the last day, based on what I have read on his site, and from the opinions of posters here who have shown themselves to me to be Real Lefties.
