shhh... secret, secret, i've got a secret...
Edited on Thu Sep-16-04 05:18 PM by ih8thegop
Someone at work (not the one I mentioned yesterday as saying he was going to wear that shirt - which he didn't) said today that "The election, I'm happy to say, is over."

He cited polls showing Bush "leading big" in Wisconsin ("That's what happens when you mispronounce 'Lambert' Field") and Missouri. He talked about Bush leading by a point in Pennsylvania ("statistically, that's nothing," I said), and "closing" Kerry's lead to five in Michigan.

Folks, don't tell them, but they're getting cocky.

Pew poll put Bush and Kerry dead even at 46% to 46%...
...so bush's bounce from the RNC has faded totally away (was 52% * to 44% Kerryright after RNC).

2. Tell him
that he doesn't have to go vote for Bush then, since he's so far ahead....don't bother to tell him about all the new voters and how Kerry folks are undaunted by polls.

13. Absolutely!
If this guy has libertarian leanings, there's no way he can like the Patriot Act. Suggest he vote Libertarian to send Bush a message.

7. Kerry was campaigning in Wis
and he misspoke the name of Lambeau field. The GOP is trying to use that as a wedge issue. wisconsin hicks only care about the packers and now they wont vote for Kerry because *gasp* he does even know the name of the stadium of the packers. Oh the humanity!

They won't vote for Kerry because he got the name of a stadium wrong but they will vote for * who bombed the wrong country.

4. Thank gawd.
The more puggies that stay home on election day, the fewer polling places that'll have to be fumigated later.

Win, win sez I.
